How can we help children who bully to change?

Helping children to understand the hurt they have caused is at the heart of many of the strategies aimed at group bullying. However, a small number of individual bullies may not be affected by this knowledge. An even smaller number of children may even enjoy hearing about the harm which they have caused.

We have to remember that strategies which work with the majority of children will not necessarily be effective with those who have serious behavioural or personality disorders.
