Bob
Cook - Chair of the Anti-Bullying Network
Bob Cook chairs our Advisory Committee on behalf of the Association
of Directors of Education in Scotland. He took over from Gordon
Jeyes who chaired the Committee and supported the Network
enthusiastically through its first two years. Bob is Head
of Resource Development within West Dunbartonshire Councils
Department of Education and Cultural Services. He spent many
years as a teacher of geography and guidance in Lanarkshire
schools, eventually becoming assistant head teacher with responsibility
for guidance at Uddingston Grammar School. In 1984, he became
Adviser in Guidance for the Renfrew, and Argyll and Bute Divisions
of the former Strathclyde region and then, in 1990, Regional
Adviser in Guidance for Strathclyde. His interest in anti-bullying
dates back to this time. He was a member of the development
group for the Promoting Positive Relationships materials and
delivered training across schools in Strathclyde and in several
other Scottish regions. He also ran a variety of workshops
and training sessions for parents, pupils and community groups
and was a regular contributor to conferences. |

Professor
Pamela Munn -Network Director
Congratulations to Professor Munn, who has been appointed
Dean of Moray House School of Education. She will continue
to direct the Positive Ethos Programme, which includes the
Anti-Bullying Network and the Scottish Schools Ethos Network,
but her new responsibilities will obviously mean that the
services of the Networks will largely be delivered by other
team members. |

Anne
Clifford - Network Secretary
Anne Clifford joined the team on a temporary basis about 18
months ago. She keeps threatening to return to her native
Australia, but we hope that her flight home will be long delayed.
She handles most of the InfoLine (Tel: 0131 651 6100) calls,
carries out behind-the-scenes administration, and uses her
design skills on Network publications. |
