Let's Stop Bullying
Safer Scotland/Scottish
Executive are distributing a new resource pack 'Let's Stop Bullying'
in June 2005. This pack follows the 2004 Scottish Executive competition
'STOP BULLYING - Got the Idea?' It includes:
- Classroom/groupwork
resources for children in the age range P6-S1.
- Tips for adapting
resources for older or younger age groups.
- Worksheets to
support learning activities.
- Promotional
tools to encourage and reward children and young people and raise
the (anti-bullying) profile (pens, pencils, button badges, mousemats,
rulers, wallplanner).
- Sample Scottish
Executive information leaflets for primary children and parents of
primary children, and for secondary children and parents of secondary
children.**
- Sample information
which can be ordered direct from e.g. ChildLine Scotland's Bullying
Helpline and Health Scotland.
The resources focus
on children's experience at school, but it is hoped they will be used
in any children's services setting, to discuss experiences at school
and in youth clubs, out of school care clubs, and residential settings.
